Unijet, headquartered at Paris Le Bourget, has closed its UK sales office. Following its sale to the Luxaviation Group and Luxaviation’s takeover of LEA and ExecuJet in the UK, the Unijet office was deemed surplus to requirements.

The office was established in 1974 to increase charter sales on the Falcon 10 and Falcon 20 that Unijet and its UK agent Falcon Jet Centre (FJC) were selling and chartering. Over the years it has been responsible for many aircraft types, including the Falcon 50 and Falcon 900, and more recently the Hawker 800XP and CJ3. The companies also offered free positioning to Paris and London.

“I have been associated with Unijet since joining FJC back in 1985,” says former UK sales director Andrew Lee. “When the company closed down in 2004 I took up the role of running the UK office and have done so for the last 12 years. It is a very sad time, but I feel proud to have worked for the company and wish my colleagues in Paris the very best.”
