International trip planner Djetops has launched PermitsGlobal, an application which automates the process of obtaining over-flight and landing permits from a smartphone, tablet or via the web.

Flight planning departments must often contend with the requirements for granting flight permits, and individual countries have different procedures which can change on a daily basis. PermitsGlobal aims to stay on top of any changes, simplifying the application process.

“At the moment it can take 20-30 minutes to fill out the application form, but this app is an all-in solution,” explains manager of sales at Djetops Samantha Hazelgrove. “You can enter all the details quickly and simply, these are submitted to our office in Bulgaria, and the international trip planning office then get on top of getting the permits.

“It takes the hassle away from the operator because they pass on the headache to us. Users can access the status of the permit at any time by going on their mobile or tablet. It streamlines everything.” To support PermitsGlobal, the company has partnered with Palm Aviation, Flightglobal and AirData.
