Why visit ACE ’25?
Titan Airways at London Stansted airport has taken delivery of a Phenom 300, which it will use to ferry its crews between missions. SaxonAir, which currently bases a G550 at Stansted, will offer the Phenom for charter when it is not being operated by Titan.
Marketing manager Deborah Bernard says that there were a number of factors behind the Phenom choice. “Its payload is almost double that of the CJ2+ that we used to have, its avionics suite has been future-proofed for the upcoming regulatory changes, and it gives us increased range and cruise speed as well as a fully enclosed toilet that can be externally serviced,” she says.
The seating capacity allows Titan to carry a full crew for a Boeing 757/767 and has a generous baggage allowance. Synthetic vision and safe taxi features as well the latest technology flight deck enhance the safety of the aircraft.
Founded in 1988, Titan Airways has grown from a two-man operation with a single light jet aircraft into a sizeable long haul outfit. It has a UK CAA Type A licence and a fleet comprising two Boeing 737QCs, two 757s, one 767, three Airbus 320s, one A321 and the Phenom 300. Along with a worldwide AOC it has ETOPS certification for the 757 and 767. Titan has also been credited as 'Best Charter Airline' at the last four BACA Awards ceremonies.
Titan's customers include airlines, tour operators, cruise lines, football teams and film companies.
