Rakjet is the latest entrant to the business aviation industry in the Middle East and will look to take advantage of the growth the region is currently enjoying. Focusing on management, sales and acquisitions, and led by founder Hugh Courtenay, the company is a joint venture between charter brokers Private Jet Charter (PJC) and UK-based private flight organisation Jet Connections.

“Leveraging decades-old experience in leadership in the executive jet industry, we will offer complete private aviation solutions, guaranteed to ensure client comfort and safety,” says Courtenay. “From sales and acquisition to management, Rakjet will take care of all our clients' private jet requirements, no matter their operations or destinations.”

Adds MD Zaher Deir: “Leveraging our alliance with PJC, Rakjet has an operational reach that extends around the globe. We are in a position to provide comprehensive management, charter, administrative and financial services to our customer base.”

The operator will serve EMEA and work with maintenance facilities worldwide while offering its managed clients the opportunity to offset costs through charter. It offers competitive rates on fuel and can assist with crew recruitment, aircraft insurance, catering and permits.
