Silverstone Helicopters, a joint venture between Sloane Helicopters and Fresh Air, has been awarded the contract by Silverstone Circuits to provide aviation services at the Northamptonshire, UK, race circuit.

In addition to general aviation support, Silverstone Helicopters will provide a full range of flight training, pleasure flying and charter operations from its headquarters at the circuit.

Sloane is the UK and Ireland distributor for Finmeccanica and Robinson helicopters but also offers flight operations, engineering and flight training from its head office at Sywell Aerodrome, Northampton, and engineering bases at Enniskillen and RAF Northolt. Fresh Air is based in Oxford and offers bespoke helicopter charter and helicopter management services for both private and business customers as well being experienced in major event heliport operations.
