X Jets, a recently established joint venture between global charter brokerage Private Jet Charter and Oxford, UK-based sales and management specialists Jet Connections, is of the opinion that streamlining the traffic in the Middle East's upper airspace would be a powerful catalyst to the region's aviation sector.

The Dubai-based company is upbeat about the growth prospects of the region's private jet industry in 2016. Quoting the findings of a report commissioned by NATS, the UK-based air traffic service, X Jets says that an estimated $16.3 billion in economic benefits can be achieved in the Middle East over the next ten years by delivering enhancements to air traffic control systems.

Co-founder Hugh Courtenay says that X Jets received a positive response within weeks of its launch at the end of 2015. It has developed integrated aircraft management services that cover the spectrum of owner requirements, including crew recruitment, trip schedule, maintenance, procurement of fuel, insurance and catering services.

“The launch of X Jets was in response to increased demand for high quality aircraft management services in the region,” adds fellow co-founder Zaher Deir. “Through the global network of Private Jet Charter and the support of Jet Connections we have succeeded in creating a significant client base for X Jets in the Middle East quickly.”
