Why visit ACE ’25?
TAG Aviation of Farnborough has added a Gulfstream G650 to its UK AOC. Following the successful completion of the AOC proving flight, the operator has now received full CAA approval to operate the jet commercially, becoming the first UK operator to have achieved this status.
VP of aircraft management and charter services Florent Sériès says: “TAG Aviation's number one priority is the safety, security and well-being of passengers at all times. Receiving full UK AOC approval means that we can look to now attract other G650 owners with a view to operating their aircraft under a management contract for charter when the aircraft is not being used by them. This has the added attraction of allowing them to offset some operational costs against personal flights.”
TAG now manages seven of the type globally and has one of the largest G650 fleets of any operator worldwide. The aircraft has a maximum speed of Mach 0.925 and a range of 7,000 nm, enabling it to connect London with Buenos Aires or Singapore. It features a wide cabin interior and is equipped with inflight wi-fi and satellite communications systems.
