German operator Hahn Air has added a Citation Sovereign to its fleet for ad hoc charter flights. The aircraft will support Hahn's plans to further develop its flight operations to medium and long-haul destinations. Its fleet now consists of two CJ4s and the Sovereign.

The paintwork of the latest acquisition has been updated, and the interior was also modified. It is anticipated that the aircraft will enter service before the year is out. With capacity for eight passengers and a crew of two pilots and one flight attendant, the MTOW of the aircraft is 13,744 kg and it has a ceiling of 47,000 feet. The jet is able to reach the UAE or Canada without requiring a tech stop. “As a global player in the airline industry and a member of major airline alliances such as IATA, GBAA and ERA, we are pleased to take another step towards expanding our charter business as well as our reach,” says COO and general manager Daniel Rudas. “We are certain that the Sovereign is a great fit for our business due to its exceptional performance and range; operating it will enable us to extend our network.”
