Airbus Helicopters has made available a Mercedes-Benz Style vip version of its H145 rotorcraft, which offers improved performance, increased safety and enhanced exterior design over its predecessor, the EC145. The manufacturer has received four orders so far, with deliveries set to commence before the end of the year.

“Inspired by top-of-the-range vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, this aircraft has a redesigned interior that includes wi-fi connectivity, an improved infotainment system and new seat design for increased comfort,” says head of private and business aviation Frederic Lemos. “Customers wishing to further personalise their aircraft will be able to work directly with Airbus Helicopters and the creative design teams at Mercedes-Benz Style to create a unique cabin.”

The aircraft has three incarnations that customers can combine with a wooden floor or a choice of carpets. Interior liners and lights contribute to the atmosphere inside, while storage volume is increased by an integrated cabinet and attachment points on the floor and walls.

Possible functions of the aircraft include executive transportation, tourism, family voyages, as well as leisure and sport trips. All seats, galley and walls are mounted on rails and can be easily reconfigured from four to eight passengers, or removed to transport more luggage. It is also being marketed as an ideal choice for super yacht owners.
