ABS Jets heralds first decade with best year yet
Prague-based ABS Jets is celebrating a record performance in 2014, its tenth anniversary year. Following strong demand for the company's entire range of services, its revenue was boosted by 3.7 per cent, with earnings before taxes up 61.7 per cent.

Prague-based ABS Jets is celebrating a record performance in 2014, its tenth anniversary year.

Following strong demand for the company's entire range of services, its revenue was boosted by 3.7 per cent, with earnings before taxes up 61.7 per cent. The technical and maintenance department enjoyed significant growth, technical projects increased by 19 per cent and the marker of an annual 50,000 man-hours of work was passed and resulted in 6.6 per cent growth.

ABS Jets also achieved several operational milestones. Flight crews safely operated 2,100 flights in 2014 and increased the number of flight hours by 27 per cent over 2013. Another Legacy 650 was also added to the fleet, which now comprises 12 business jets.

“We are extremely pleased with last year's performances in all areas. We will continue to invest in initiatives aimed at delivering an excellent customer experience, which will drive expanded business activity,” says ceo Vladimir Petak. “The year 2014 left us not only with fantastic results but also great excitement about the future.”

In 2004, ABS Jets had just two aircraft and 30 employees. Now it operates a fleet of 20 midsize and heavy jets, and has more than 300 qualified professionals based at airports in Prague and Bratislava, Slovakia.
