Naljets, a management company based in the north east of England, has taken delivery of a factory-new Challenger 350, which will be hangared at Multiflight's Leeds Bradford international airport facility.

Md Craig McLeod and captain Peter Riley welcomed the jet, which will be operated by Naljets on behalf of an international client. It will also be available for charter alongside a Gulfstream G200.

The CL350 can accommodate ten passengers in a spacious cabin. Its advanced avionics include a synthetic vision system which overlays outside terrain as well as runway and airport features on the cockpit displays in bad weather, and guests can make the most of a Lufthansa Technik cabin entertainment system.

The aircraft joins a private Challenger 605 at Multiflight, which was chosen as the new base for the company's fleet due to its comprehensive range of FBO and maintenance services and LBIA's ease of access and lack of congestion.

Says McLeod: “Since registering the aircraft in the UK in December, it has already flown nearly 200 hours – more hours than many business aircraft get flown in an entire year – so we really appreciate its performance capabilities.

“It is an awesome aircraft with an improved payload and a phenomenal climb rate, much faster than the earlier Challenger 300. In addition, its winglets have improved fuel efficiency, flying performance and reduced stall speeds, meaning we can now get into remote airfields that were previously out of reach.”

Last year Naljets received record numbers of charter requests for its aircraft. McLeod adds: “We are pleased to be able to base several of our UK aircraft at Leeds Bradford Airport. We have an excellent working relationship with Multiflight and having outgrown our previous arrangements, it was an easy decision to move our aircraft here due to its superb facilities.

“We are confident that the move will prove beneficial to our clients, as they will enjoy shorter waiting times, reduced costs and high quality waiting lounges at Multiflight.”
