Oryx Jet at London Luton is enhancing its safety and compliance systems through the introduction of Q-Pulse software, which provides a platform for CAMO and flight ops oversight. “The Oryx Jet team has been working hard to introduce advanced electronic solutions to all its operational management; the past few months have focused around installation of Q-Pulse and adapting it to our needs,” says flight operations manager Chris Beaumont.

“We are in step with the UK authority, which has also installed this adaptable system. At its most basic level, Q-Pulse is a compliance and safety management tool, and it collects all data in the format defined by the operator. We find it allows us to manage the mitigation and oversight, and has permitted Oryx Jet managers to remotely access systems and monitor progress during that mitigation process.”

The company has already installed e-solutions to other parts of its operations management. On-Board Data Systems permits immediate access to essential operational documentation for aircraft crews and monitoring of individual crew updates, while a cumulative risk tool works in conjunction with Q-Pulse to identify and anticipate any potential active hazards for each flight.

“Our mission is to create and promote a safety culture in all aspects of operation,” continues Beaumont. “It follows that safety is key in the development of every part of our e-process expansion.”
