Austrian International Jet Management (IJM) is the first operator in Europe of Bombardier's Challenger 350. It has signed an MRO agreement for the aircraft with Schönefeld-based Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS). The aircraft is being made available for charter through AC Aviation Charter. “Our great experience with LBAS in the past was one reason behind our decision to put our brand new aircraft in the hands of their experts,” says IJM ceo Felix Feller. “Time and quality are the most important issues for our operation, and so we selected LBAS for this important work.” Md for LBAS Christoph Meyerrose adds: “LBAS was the first main-tenance provider for Challenger 300 aircraft in Europe and has already performed two eight-year inspections this year. Our refined knowledge of the aircraft is the foundation to provide high quality in the industry to meet the expectations of our customers.” A derivative of the Challenger 300, the CL350 features a redesigned cabin that maximises natural light and in flight productivity. The jet is capable of 3,200 nm range and has canted winglets.
