London Stansted-based Titan Airways says that it is receiving a growing number of requests for ad hoc charter, in addition to its contracted holiday services and ACMI work. The company currently operates a CJ2+, six Boeings and an Airbus A320 but commercial director Alastair Kiernan says that the intention over the next three to four years is to move into a mainly Airbus operation given the popularity of the 320.

The company has also been awarded a ski flight contract for this winter for flights between London Gatwick and Turin on behalf of Inghams, as well as contracts to Chambery.
