Why visit ACE ’25?
Inaer Portugal has been flying missions for the Portuguese national health service (INEM) since 2000, transporting seriously ill patients by helicopter, either to hospital or between hospitals.
In 2013, the operator carried out 760 HEMS missions in which 669 patients with varying pathologies were assisted, with flying time totalling 1,239 hours.
Last year Inaer was awarded a contract from INEM which includes four 24-hour HEMS bases: Salemas, Beja or Loulé, Macedo de Cavaleiros, and Santa Comba Dão. Its fleet of three AW109 helicopters is equipped with the latest technology and operates all year round. An additional 109 reinforces resources between June and September, the busiest months of the year.
