Rotana Jet will be basing an A319 Airbus at Al Bateen Executive airport. The aircraft will be available for private charter and will be added to the existing Rotana fleet at Al Bateen, which currently comprises two Embraer 145 and a Gulfstream G450.

The A319 will have 32 business class seats and 18 economy class.

Yousif Al Hammadi, general manager of Al Bateen Executive airport, comments: “Rotana Jet's commitment to base its A319 at Al Bateen demonstrates the airport's position as a key business aviation hub for the region, and as a preferred base for charter aircraft operators. We look forward to additional private aircraft partners making it their hub in the Middle East.”
