Zurich-based Premium Jet has fulfilled its plan to allow customers to choose between Swiss and EU-based AOC operations (see EBAN March 2012) by signing a joint venture agreement with SGC Aviation of Vienna.

Zurich-based Premium Jet has fulfilled its plan to allow customers to choose between Swiss and EU-based AOC operations (see EBAN March 2012) by signing a joint venture agreement with SGC Aviation of Vienna.

"Irrespective of 'where the shoe pinches' an aircraft owner, whether this is certain import or VAT taxation practices, aviation related taxes or other burden presently encountered, Premium Jet can now supply either a Swiss or an Austrian solution and help its customers choose the most suitable one," the company says. "The eventual extra effort required will be definitely worth it."

Premium Jet is currently embarked on a significant expansion of its fleet, and has recently completed a pre-purchase inspection on a Global Express in the US. The aircraft is said to be in very good shape and delivery is expected in June with the start of operations in July. The company also expects to add two more ultra long range jet to its management fleet later this year, bringing its overall fleet by that time to 13 aircraft.

Meanwhile, the Phenom 100 and the Citation Excel recently added to its Swiss AOC are now checked out and fully available for charter with immediate effect.

Premium Jet is offering a Falcon 2000S for sale, with a scheduled delivery in October 2013, interior to be chosen by the buyer.
