Dutch operator Dynamic Airlines is embarking on an ambitious expansion programme that will see it add new aircraft and facilities over the coming eighteen months. While work has begun on an FBO at Eindhoven Airport the company has placed orders for three new Citation jets to join its existing fleet of four, with options on a further two aircraft.\rDynamic Airlines' managing director Huub van den Hout says that two Citation Bravos are due to be delivered at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next, while a Citation Excel is scheduled to arrive in mid to late 2000. The company currently has options on two extra aircraft, one of each model type.M\rThe operator's satisfaction with its current fleet lay behind the decision to acquire the aircraft. "We are already an operator of four Citations so it is in our line of business," explained van den Hout. "It is the first time that we have bought new aircraft but it is a very good aircraft so it was easy to make the choice." The aircraft will augment rather than replace the current fleet and will be used exclusively for charter work. In addition to opening an office at the Jet Centre in Rotterdam, the company has started work on an FBO at Eindhoven Airport, which is due to be completed within twelve months. Although the new facilities are primarily conceived for use by the company and its clients, the FBO will also be available for third party use.\r"It will have all that is necessary to provide vip services as well as operational services - flight infor-mation office and so on," said van den Hout. "We will be the first FBO at the airport. Although there is already a company that provides handling services we will do the vip work." Cessna has heralded the success of the Citation range within Europe, saying that there are now more than 370 Citation business jets in operation in European skies. Since its opening in February 1998, the European Citation Service Centre at Le Bourget Airport has provided maintenance support to almost 1,400 Citation operators. It has added a second shift in the past month enabling the facility to offer normal operations from 07.30 to 22.00 five days a week.\rCompliance with Jarops-1 regulations, RVSM and the safety record of the fleet are cited as reasons for the aircraft's popularity. The Service Centre team at Paris has the training and the equipment to to meet all inspection, maintenance and service needs for the Citation range, from the Citation I through the Citation Excel and Citation X.
