US MRO specialist West Star Aviation is pleased to announce Travis Reed has been recognised for AMT's 40 Under 40 Award. Travis is currently the quality control inspector at its facility at Lovell Field (CHA) in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Travis has over 13 years of aviation experience previously working for Sindelar and Embraer. Although he enjoyed working on commercial and general aviation aircraft, he found that he preferred corporate aircraft, where he stated industry-wide, more attention is given to detail and cleanliness. He enjoys helping both new and seasoned technicians become better A&Ps.

“I am passionate about working with young techs getting into the industry,” he said. “I really enjoy training and coming up with new ideas to improve the flow of maintenance or even something that may help the everyday tasks in the hangar,” said Travis Reed, quality control inspector (CHA).
