Multiflight fleet grows with second AS365
Multiflight has expanded its helicopter charter fleet with a second nine seat AS365 Dauphin.

Multiflight has expanded its helicopter charter fleet with a second nine seat AS365 Dauphin. The vip-configured AS365 joins a fleet which also includes an AS355 Twin Squirrel, an AS350 Single Squirrel and a Bell 206 III JetRanger.

"The new AS365 has been bought by a private client and is now being maintained and managed by Multiflight as part of its charter fleet," says md Steve Borrowdale.

Multiflight sourced the Dauphin and completely refurbished it at its dedicated Leeds Bradford aircraft service centre. "Multiflight is now the only operator in the north of England that is able to offer two luxurious AS365s," Borrowdale adds.

Helicopter operations manager Linda Nicholls says: "We have seen a significant increase in demand for Multiflight's charter service. Much of the demand is for corporate rental or for days out to destinations such as York Races, Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Races, Wimbledon or Twickenham, or to a wedding or other special event."

Multiflight has plans to add another AS350B2 helicopter, increasing its single engine fleet to three aircraft. "This will allow the company to develop some local aerial work applications," says Borrowdale. In addition the company also plans to add another IFR twin. He adds: "The Multiflight charter department is being fully refurbished and expanded in early 2009."
