Marshall Test Services, a division of Marshall Aerospace, has gained UKAS accreditation for its key areas of testing. This will allow the company to meet a range of specified test requirements for all engineering disciplines.

The Cambridge-based facility houses a full scale C-130K fuselage fatigue test and a C-130J wing fatigue test, as well as specialised test rigs for component and equipment testing which can perform a range

of tasks including material testing, proof loading, instrumentation and aircraft calibration.

Marshall Test Services can also provide a customised test solution, encompassing all aspects of design and manufacture through to analysis and reporting. According to business development manager Andrew Chilton, the accreditation will provide Marshall Test Services with a good base to expand its current capabilities.
