Why visit ACE ’25?
In December 2024, Bombardier delivered its 200th Global 7500 business jet.
“The Global 7500 is assembled with the best manufacturing process and technological advancements in business aviation, and we are so excited and honoured to reach the 200 delivery mark of this transformative aircraft,” says David Murray, executive vice president, manufacturing, IT and Bombardier operational executive system. “This milestone also reflects the outstanding efforts of our meticulous engineering, production and assembly teams. These talented individuals are the beating heart of this programme's ultimate success and achievements.”
With a top speed of Mach 0.925 and a range of 7,700 nautical miles, the Global 7500 allows access a wealth of destinations. Since entering service in December 2018, the Global 7500 has proven to be the highest-performing business aircraft, boasting fleet dispatch reliability of over 99.8%.
The Global 7500 has also set more speed records than any other aircraft in its class, completing over 75 speed record missions. These include an 8,225 nautical mile flight from Sydney to Detroit in October 2019, the longest recorded flight in business aviation.
“Customers appreciate the benefits this aircraft offers and it continues to rewrite history with its speed records and long-distance capabilities,” says Jean-Christophe Gallagher, executive vice president, aircraft sales and Bombardier Defense. “The Global 7500 serves as an extension of our customers' homes or offices, offering spacious cabins and Bombardier's signature smooth ride.”
The attributes of the Global 7500 are set to be further enhanced with the upcoming launch of the Global 8000, announced in 2022. Bombardier's new flagship will feature a range of 8,000 nautical miles and a top speed of Mach 0.94, and is set to enter service in the second half of 2025.
