Following the 54th International Paris Air Show where zero emission air mobility was, for the first time, placed under the spotlight of the worldwide airspace industry, France-based helicopter and jet booking platform Helipass has agreed to integrate eVTOL aircraft solutions from Brazil-based Micaelis into its global portfolio network.
“By combining our expertise and resources, we are underlining the impact of innovation initiatives with a strong commitment to expanding viable and accessible solutions for the advanced air mobility market, and to bringing significant environmental improvements,” says Helipass CEO Frédéric Aguettant.
“This partnership fuels a global network collaboration between both companies to transform mobility and rapidly introduce electric air transportation into new regions,” adds Micaelis co-CEO Vincent Kieffer.
Both companies have been involved with worldwide rideshare helicopter services and the two CEOs are joining forces to run a partnership programme to speed up the introduction of safer, quieter and more sustainable air travel. Micaelis is set to focus on developing practical AAM applications such as implementing and testing routes and customer experience in Latin America, whereas Helipass will foster the introduction of AAM to the European market, promoting future routes in France and other European countries that could support AAM operations.
