Global Air Charters has appointed Michael Vanacore-Netz as its chief executive officer, where he will oversee fleet expansion, strengthen the global network of partners and introduce service offerings that meet the evolving needs of luxury travellers.

Vanacore-Netz says: "I'm looking forward to bringing new leadership principles as I enter this role. I'm looking forward to a new set of objectives and goals that GAC can strive for. More importantly, I look forward to building a bigger and better culture within the company.

"I am most excited to work with three particular groups of individuals; our employees, the stakeholders and our customers. All three are equally important to GACs value and our growth moving forward."

Executive vice president and director of operations Paul Rodsjo adds: "Early on, I recognised Michael's potential and drive. And I believe his strategic acumen and strong business acuity make him the ideal candidate to lead GAC into its next growth and development phase."

Outgoing CEO Todd Vollhaber says: "We are thrilled to have Michael take the helm. His forward-thinking approach makes him the perfect fit to lead the company into its next chapter. We are confident that the company will continue to thrive and exceed expectations under his guidance."

Vollhaber is now chairman of the board and will continue to provide guidance and direction over all three facets of Global Air Charters, namely its Part 145 repair station GlobalMX, its Part 135 air carrier Global Air Charters and its Part 121 operations Global Air Lines.
