Embassair puts security and luxury into Opa-Locka opening
The Embassair team is ready to showcase its innovative facility to private aviation customers travelling to the Miami area, and has joined the ARGUS' Base Operations Audit programme.
ARGUS VP of business aviation Ed Wandall with Embassair director Jose Cabrera and ARGUS North America sales manager Kathy Gokce.

Embassair is beginning soft opening operations at its new terminal at Opa-Locka Executive airport in Miami, Florida. The FBO is designed by architect Jacques Rougerie to offer the highest level of security, privacy and luxury.

“Our team is ready to showcase our innovative facility to private aviation customers travelling to the Miami area. We have a highly trained team who uphold the highest standards in safety and customer experience in the industry,” says FBO director José J Cabrera.

Among the numerous amenities for both passengers and crew members, the 25,000 sq ft facility includes four Extime exclusive private boarding lounges with access to the ramp; a private covered garage with direct access to lounges and ramp ad with multiple EV chargers; multiple full suite snooze rooms with beds, TVs and bathrooms; two flight planning rooms; a crew gym; pilot's lounge; buffet lounge; and grand lobby.

This elite AEG Connect FBO also includes approximately 60,000 sq ft of tenant and transient hangar space and over 130,000 sq ft of ramp space.

Embassair revealed during the 2023 NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference that the FBO has become one of the first additions to the ARGUS International's Base Operations Audit programme, launched at the conference in 2022.

"Any amazing structure needs a strong foundation. Safety, service and security are the most critical elements of that foundation. ARGUS is excited to work with Embassair to build that solid base," says ARGUS vice president of business aviation Ed Wandall.

“This partnership highlights the commitment Embassair has to lead the industry in safety and customer experience performance. We believe in not only providing our customers with the safest and convenient environment, but also expecting the same from the highly rated ARGUS operator network,” adds Cabrera. "From the start, Embassair is making travel a work of art and creating a standard of safety and service through this synergy with ARGUS International's Platinum operators. The industry will have to rise to meet that Embassair standard."

ARGUS' Base Operations Audit is an all-inclusive, comprehensive FBO audit that assesses everything from customer service to safety management.
