PlaneSense integrates Boeing flight planning across fleet
ForeFlight has long been a valuable tool with which PlaneSense maximises safety, efficiency and utility across its fleet. The integrated flight planning and mobile EFB will provide a precise flight environment analysis.
PlaneSense is installing Boeing's ForeFlight integrated flight planning and EFB app across its 50 aircraft fleet.

US-based fractional operator PlaneSense will implement Boeing's ForeFlight integrated flight planning and mobile electronic flight bag (EFB) solutions across its entire operation. The company has more than 50 Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft in its fleet.

In addition to its current use of Boeing's Jeppesen charting and NavData solutions, PlaneSense will adopt ForeFlight's integrated product suite to replace its existing flight planning and inflight solutions. This includes ForeFlight Dispatch for flight planners, ForeFlight Mobile EFB with integrated Jeppesen charts for navigation, as well as ForeFlight Runway Analysis for take off and landing performance calculations.

“Implementing advanced systems that strengthen operations is an important strategy in our commitment to providing exceptional service to our fractional clients,” says president and CEO George Antoniadis. “ForeFlight has been a valuable tool in our arsenal for the last several years and has been revolutionary in maximising safety, efficiency and utility across our fleet. It provides our pilots and the flight operations team with precise analysis of the dynamic flight environment. We look forward to continuing working together to add additional features that will further streamline our operations.”

Because ForeFlight's ecosystem of digital solutions is purpose-built for business aviation, PlaneSense's leveraging of the suite will support the seamless integration of digital tools across its operations. ForeFlight Dispatch features collaborative flight planning capabilities that go beyond the basics of planning, filing and monitoring flights, such as producing optimised and 'cleared-as-filed' routes with speed and flexibility. Its set of customisation and automation capabilities allow flight departments to easily adapt Dispatch to unique operational needs while saving flight planners time and effort.

“We have a longstanding relationship with PlaneSense, and we're thrilled that it has expanded its suite of Boeing's digital solutions to include ForeFlight Dispatch, ForeFlight Mobile EFB and ForeFlight Runway Analysis,” says CEO Tim Schuetze. “Its involvement as a development partner in the ongoing evolution and advancement of these products has been instrumental in offering the market a comprehensive, integrated solution that is tailor-made for business aviation.”
