Malta and UK-based charter airline AirX has selected Moment's Flymingo Box solution aboard its VIP A340 aircraft. The installation of the W-IFE system extends the connected offering with advanced onboard entertainment services.
AirX operates a diverse fleet of 17 aircraft, that enables it to propose access to selected airports or to answer large cargo demand and small and large group charters. While VIP aviation has gained traction since the pandemic, passengers are expecting to stay connected at all times, even during a flight.
AirX has had to adapt to a changing market since the pandemic, with passengers keen to fly safely and prioritise comfort with first-class services. Following the acquisition of an A340, the company elected a VIP configuration and partnered with Moment to upgrade the cabin with the Flymingo Box. A portable plug-and-play system, the wireless inflight device enables premium services and entertainment content including films, TV shows, magazines and music. Once set up in the cabin, the Box supports advanced streaming and ensures unmatched reliability for passengers looking for always-on connectivity. With a few clicks from their own electronic devices, they access a personalised digital portal providing optimal services.
"We were convinced by the flexibility and ease of installation of Moment's solution. In just a short time we are able to offer our customers a premium digital service like at home," says AirX Group CEO Houssam Hazzoury. "Accelerating digitisation is essential for the continued development of our charter and commercial business. The A340 allows us to offer a tailored flight experience that meets the needs of our customers, enhanced by the features of the Flymingo Box which offers a full range of onboard services."
“We are pleased AirX chose Moment as a partner. Moment is committed to delivering a dedicated powerful and reliable solution to all business jet operators, one that provides passengers with top-of-the-range connected services," says business development director Dieudonné Kamaté. "This agreement highlights our capacity to adapt to all types of aircraft and business models and confirms our ambition to be a trusted partner serving more airline companies."
