CanadaTAM Executive Aviation has received IS-BAH certification from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) for its São Paulo Congonhas FBO. With that, it becomes the first company in Brazil to have this certification.
IS-BAH, short for International Standard for Business Aircraft Handlers, is a set of global industry best practices designed to increase the safety and efficiency of business aviation (FBO) ground operators worldwide.
“In addition to being a great competitive advantage, especially in the international market, for us this achievement is very important. It is proof of an extremely rigorous operation in relation to standards and processes, further reinforcing one of our main pillars, safety. It strengthens our customer-centric culture of always offering the best service, with the highest quality,” explains president Leonardo Fiuza.
TAM is on a journey to develop an increasingly improved experience for its customers, constantly investing in technology, training, processes and people. Its purpose is to provide agility and always be ahead of new market demands.
“We have an experienced team and one of the best executive aviation infrastructures in the country for serving domestic and international flights,” says Fiuza.
To achieve IS-BAH certification, TAM prepared for months and underwent a major audit. Employees underwent rigorous training and all procedures were formalised in manuals.
