Premier is awarded Diamond Caribbean dealership
Diamond Aircraft has appointed Premier as the Caribbean dealer for its diesel-powered range. The diesel-powered aircraft are particularly valued where Avgas is both scarce and expensive.

Premier Aircraft Sales has been named exclusive sales and service representative for Diamond Aircraft in 21 countries throughout the Caribbean island chain.

“We are extremely proud and grateful that Diamond Aircraft has selected us as its exclusive sales and service representative in these 21 Caribbean Island countries,” says CEO Travis Peffer. “Our successful history as an authorised Diamond dealer began shortly after Premier opened its doors in 2003. Being awarded the Caribbean island territory is the next great step in our long and successful relationship.”

Premier Aircraft Sales has been a long term successful dealer and service centre for Diamond Aircraft,” adds Diamond head of sales and marketing Annemarie Mercedes Heikenwälder. “Premier boasts excellent sales in both new and used aircraft, but convenient and reliable service solutions throughout its territory. Headquartered in southern Florida, Premier is the gateway to the Caribbean and we are confident it will serve this market very well.”

Peffer notes that with its growing family of jet-fuelled, diesel-powered, single and twin engine models, Diamond Aircraft is ideally suited for operations within many of the Caribbean Islands where Avgas can be difficult to find and expensive to buy.

“Many of our south Florida-based customers routinely fly their DA40 NGs, DA42s and DA62s throughout the Caribbean,” he continues. “The reliability of their proven diesel engines combined with their exceptional fuel economy make Diamond's family of airplanes the fun way to island hop throughout the Caribbean.”

In the nearly 20 years since Premier Aircraft Sales began representing Diamond Aircraft, it has sold over 730 new and pre-owned models.

“With this many aircraft sold to customers worldwide, I think it's safe to say that Premier Aircraft Sales is by far one of Diamond's most trusted and successful dealers,” he adds. “We are confident that the new Caribbean territory will quickly become one of Premier's most successful regions.”

The Caribbean Island territory will be handled out of Premier Aircraft Sales' headquarters at Fort Lauderdale Executive airport.
