Stobart takes London's name for the Southend FBO
Just to be clear, Southend is under 40 miles from the centre of London and is less than 12 minutes from Battersea via helicopter transfer. Stobart believes it is thoroughly deserving of the London moniker.

The Stobart Jet Centre FBO at London Southend Airport has changed its name to London Southend Jet Centre, in a move designed to emphasise the executive ground handler's location and proximity to London.

The change of name includes a new web site, and follows the decision by parent company Esken to sell the Eddie Stobart and Stobart trademarks to Eddie Stobart Logistics. That sale has allowed it to start establishing a clear differentiation between Eddie Stobart's logistics business and the FBO.

Nigel Mayes, business development director says, “We chose London Southend Jet Centre as it's important to us that people recognise our location and proximity to London. Our jet centre is located under 40 miles from the centre of London and is less than 12 minutes from Battersea via helicopter transfer. From this convenient location we can offer a personalised service with customers able to move from plane to car in under two minutes. But of course for clients that do not have to rush, they can also take their time and relax in our luxurious lounge and enjoy our first class facilities.''
