CTT humidifier to boost wellbeing and sleep on ACJ neo
Without an efficient humidification system, the cabin air in a large cabin business jet is far more dehydrating than any place on Earth at below five per cent Relative Humidity (RH). This can drastically increase fatigue.

CTT, a producer of aircraft humidity control systems, has announced an order for a VIP inflight humidification system on an Airbus ACJ319neo aircraft from AMAC Aerospace, the VIP completions and maintenance specialist based in Basel, Switzerland.

This completion will feature increased humidity in the entire aircraft cabin, which requires support from two humidifiers, with anti-fuselage condensation protection. The system will be delivered to AMAC in the second quarter of this year. This award is CTT Systems' 96th VIP inflight humidification order for Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ aircraft.

“Once again, we look forward to a VIP completion project that includes CTT's humidification system,” comments Tracey Hawthorne-Kurz, director logistics and purchasing at AMAC Aerospace Switzerland. “Cabin humidification is a common request from our VIP clients that value good health, wellbeing and feeling at ease during and after flight.”

Without an efficient humidification system, the cabin air in a VIP aircraft or large, cabin business jet is far more dehydrating than any place on Earth at below five per cent Relative Humidity (RH). This ACJ319neo will have a striking humidity increase, restored to comfort and wellbeing levels at approximately 20 per cent RH. VIP passengers on long-haul flights will benefit from reduced dry air related problems, such as fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry throat, dry skin and the spread of virus diseases, and improved wellbeing and general sleep. The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria. The CTT IFH VIP system offers total anti-condensation protection.

“We are delighted for another order from AMAC Aerospace,” concludes Peter Landquist, VP and senior advisor sales at CTT Systems.
