Cannes Aviation Academy, an ATO located in the south of France, has acquired a second Alsim AL42 simulator. The AL42 is an exact replica of the Diamond DA42, built using genuine aircraft parts and equipped with the latest real-world Garmin G1000 avionics suite. It also comes with latest generation visual system, GFC 700 autopilot and PBN/LPV capabilities.

“Given our forecasts, the need for a second FNPT2 simulator was certain. We naturally turned to the Alsim AL42, which is a very representative simulator of the Diamond DA42 twin-engine we use. We have been working with Alsim for nearly 15 years, and we know the reliability of its simulators and the high availability of its after-sales service,” explains Mathieu Di Costanzo, general manager for Cannes Aviation.

Alsim and Cannes Aviation have been collaborating for years. We are very pleased that it chose us again and would like to thank it for its confidence. We look forward to continuing this successful cooperation between our companies,” adds Audrey Jeffroy, sales director for Alsim.
