Alto's Cadence Switch installations hit a century
Many MROs have installed the Alto Cadence Switch Series in a variety of private aircraft, including light jets and turboprops, medium, large and special mission aircraft. The new kit is compatible with legacy systems.

Alto Aviation, a specialist in premium cabin audio systems, in-flight entertainment, cabin management systems and passenger controls, has seen its Alto Cadence Switch Series solution installed in over 100 business jets.

The Cadence Switch Series is Alto Aviation’s series of customisable cabin switch panels that allow functionality through discreet logic and no software, minimising or eliminating woodwork and considerably reducing installation costs. The foundation for CSS are modular, discreet switch assemblies. The modules come in sizes from one to six positions and include USB charging, HDMI port, Bluetooth interface and ordinance signage. CSS is fit compatible with former CMS/IFE switch offerings. By defining a bezel that fits an existing cutout, Alto may be able to provide a CMS/IFE upgrade solution without changing the woodwork.

All installations have been customised explicitly for retrofit aircraft to replace their obsolete, non-serviceable or broken passenger controls, in many cases repurposing functionality and updating the cabin management system capabilities of each cabin. Many MROs have installed the Alto Cadence Switch Series in a wide variety of private aircraft, including light jets and turboprops, medium, large, bizliner cabin and special mission aircraft.

“We are proud of surpassing our 100th unique aircraft Cadence Switch System project milestone,” says Alto's VP of sales and marketing Kevin Hayes. “The Cadence Switch Series has been instrumental in satisfying the replacement requirements of legacy systems. What an accomplishment for the Alto team. We appreciate all the customers who have supported us and continue supporting us along this journey and look forward to many more installations in the future.”
