Jersey Aircraft Registry reopens its account
The Jersey Aircraft Registry’s main goal is to provide fast and simple aircraft registration in addition to improved levels of safety and compliance with technology. It is accepting registrations again now.

TrustFlight has announced the re-launch of the Jersey Aircraft Registry.

JAR was first launched in 2015 to attract high-value private and corporate aircraft (on the ZJ- register). Despite its marketing and promotion efforts, the response was lower than expected and Ports of Jersey Ltd was given operational control of JAR in 2018.

Now it operates JAR in partnership with TrustFlight, and is developing an improved offering, driven by technology, providing a new way for aircraft owners to register their aircraft quickly and efficiently.

TrustFlight’s general manager, Sebastian Lawson, says: “We have ambitious plans to grow the Jersey Aircraft Registry internationally and to achieve stable growth over the medium and long term. We are establishing strong relationships with aircraft owners to further develop our registry software and to begin accepting aircraft onto the registry. The technology developed will give everyone more visibility throughout the application process as well as ensuring the registration process is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.”

The Jersey Aircraft Registry’s main goal is to provide fast and simple aircraft registration in addition to improved levels of safety and compliance with technology. This includes streamlined online applications, process automation using technology, an online management portal, membership services and blockchain verification.
