Italian operator joins Luxaviation's charter alliance
The latest member of Luxaviation Helicopters Charter Alliance is HoverFly, an Italian operator with a fleet of VIP helicopters with which it offers heli-taxi services from Fidenza, Tuscany, Rome, the Gulf of Naples and Milan.
HoverFly joins the Luxaviation Helicopters Charter Alliance to extend VIP heli solution in Europe.

Launched in March 2019, the Luxaviation Helicopters Charter Alliance enables members to call on each other to provide a truly international VIP helicopter charter service, connecting partners in Europe, South America and Asia-Pacific. The latest operator to join the network is Italy-based HoverFly.

CEO Charlotte Pedersen says: “The Luxaviation Helicopters Charter Alliance has had a very successful launch period, and we are pleased that we are continuing to partner with leading regional helicopter charter operators, such as HoverFly, to offer a truly seamless and connected service for our clients.

“HoverFly is the leading helicopter charter operator in Italy and, when it comes to safety and customer service, shares the very same expectations and standards as Luxaviation Helicopters, which is exactly what we look for in new members. We look forward to providing our clients with an even more expansive service in Italy and beyond, through HoverFly and other members of the alliance.”

HoverFly sales and marketing director Massimo Vilardi adds: “The decision to join the alliance has been easy and valuable. We will now be able to provide our customers with access to a wide-ranging international network, unlocking more of the world's regions for them. We can also handle requests from other alliance members who are looking to explore the beautiful Italian coastlines, ancient cities and vineyards by helicopter.”

All alliance members must undergo an approval process to ensure they meet Luxaviation Helicopters' standards in quality and safety management. They will also benefit from its shared practices in industry certifications, efficiencies and customer service.

The alliance is now comprised of HoverFly, as well as ExecuJet's helicopter fleet in Mexico and South Africa, Philippines-based PhilJets, Spain-based Hélity, US-based HeliFlite, Austria-based HeliAustria, France-based Azur Hélicoptère and UK-based Starspeed.
