Luxaviation UK (formerly London Executive Aviation) has welcomed a factory-new Citation Mustang and Challenger 350, bringing the total number of aircraft in its fleet to 26.

Both aircraft are being managed for private clients. MD George Galanopoulos comments: “We are starting the year as we mean to go on. In 2016 we progressed a significant number of aircraft management proposals, certainly more than the previous few years, and we are confident that these relationships will see the fleet grow further over the coming months.”

The Mustang is the fourth of its type in Luxaviation UK's fleet and will be based in Nice, France, where it will be available for charter from February 2017. With space for four passengers and a maximum range of 1,200 nm from the south of France, it can reach the UK, as well as parts of Scandinavia and north Africa.

The Challenger 350 will be based at Luton airport and can transport up to nine passengers to a range of 3,200 nm. This aircraft is for the client's corporate use only, and will not be available for charter. Its on-board satcom system enables passengers to remain connected, making the aircraft suitable for airborne meetings.

Galanopoulos continues: “The addition of the Mustang and Challenger 350 marks an exciting time for Luxaviation UK. We are committed to ensuring that clients receive the luxury experience they expect from private aviation, alongside our unrivalled customer service and our key value of going above and beyond.”

The operator's fleet also includes eight Embraer Legacy 600/650s, four Citation Excels, three further Mustangs and the recent addition of a Luton-based Falcon 2000LXS, which is also available for charter. Galanopoulos is pleased with the arrival of the Falcon. “Having a brand new Falcon 2000LXS in our fleet is an exciting addition, and we're looking forward to showing it off to our clients,” he explains. “From London Luton, it will be able to fly non-stop as far as Dubai, Mumbai and the east coast of the US.”
