Why visit ACE ’25?
Germany's Heron Aviation says that its latest Falcon 900EX has been performing beyond expectations, and the operator is making use of similarities in the cockpit between this aircraft and previous Falcons it has flown. “We can run this aircraft with the same crew, and the owners can benefit from participating in synergies,” remarks sales manager Christina Fries.
“It is not ETOPS restricted and can therefore be used worldwide without any major headache. Short runway capability is excellent too.”
The aircraft is currently undergoing a 12-year inspection and a cabin upgrade, and Fries is expecting the new look jet to attract plenty of interest once the work is finished: “The inspection is to uphold the high quality of the aircraft, and when it is complete the interior will have a fresh design and colour scheme. Outside, it will be completely white like our first Falcon.”
She explains that the duties of the aircraft are to be shared equally between private owner use and third party charter. Heron has decided against owning aircraft outright, as its primary focus is on management. “Our clients should never have the feeling that we do not treat them equally with regard to assigning charter flights,” she adds.
There is a fresh face at Heron too, as Pierre Knoblauch joins the ground ops team as dispatcher.
