PrivatAir and Lufthansa Technik have extended their existing relationship for technical services with the signing of a total technical support contract. The long-term agreement will cover the whole Airbus A319 fleet of PrivatAir, which consists of two
126-seat A319s operated as a
shuttle for Airbus Industries and
two 48-seat A319LRs operated on behalf of Lufthansa German
Airlines on routes from Düsseldorf to New York and Chicago.
Greg Thomas, ceo of the PrivatAir Group, said: “Working regularly
with Lufthansa Technik for both aircraft completion (three BBJs and two A319LRs) and day-to-day maintenance services has made a significant contribution to our company’s success.”
Just recently the Lufthansa Technik Completion Centre in Hamburg delivered the second Airbus A319LR to PrivatAir with a business class interior, including seats which can be adjusted by a 160 degree recline and amenities including power outlets for PCs.
