US MRO specialist West Star Aviation is pleased to announce the promotion of Charles Brooks to second shift manager at its St Louis Regional Airport (ALN) facility in East Alton, Illinois.

Charles started in aviation in 2005 and held positions at Hawker Beechcraft and Dassault Falcon Jet prior to taking a position with West Star Aviation in 2016. While at West Star Aviation, Charles has held both technician and lead positions.

In this new role, Charles will be responsible for partnering with day-shift programme managers to identify, plan and supervise second-shift turnover across varying disciplines (maintenance, modifications and support). Primarily focusing on the safety of employees and aircraft, along with quality workmanship to include compliance with customer specifications, company procedures and FAA regulations.
