Jet Aviation is now able to perform GVI checks with its automated drone and AI technology, resulting in a detailed paperless report for the customer and maintenance teams.

The Donecle drone and AI technology support operations for inspecting the external structure of aircraft, including lightning strike inspections, general visual inspections (GVIs), regulatory inspections and paint checks.

Jet Aviation’s Fujairah maintenance facility was commissioned to refurbish, paint and sell three Bell 412s in conjunction with five-year inspections. Along with engine upgrades, each took 3,000 man-hours to complete.
