Finnish medical helicopter services transfer to FinnHEMS

FinnHEMS has taken over responsibility for medical operations nationwide. Initially it will lease the current fleet of EC135 and H145 air ambulances, based at six locations across the country, before acquiring its own aircraft.
FinnHEMS' new base will be built in the area of Seinäjoki airport in Ilmajoki's Rengonharju. FinnHEMS has acquired a plot of land that enables smooth flight operations and is also functional for road traffic.
