Experience of high mountain landings and external load flights is essential for the demanding missions that ÖAMTC pilots fly every day, and it has brought a mountain operator on board to provide that training.

The youngest member of ÖAMTC's Christophorus fleet was transferred to Innsbruck to get technical fittings, medical equipment and interior panelling. The H135 will then start extended hours operations.

The significantly more powerful H135, which is certified for instrument flight and has an autopilot, brings the air rescue operator a step closer to its vision of being able to help anywhere, at any time and in any weather.
