GA-Europe completed the acquisition of RUAG Aerospace Services on 1 March, subsequently rebranding it as General Atomics AeroTec Systems. GA-ATS is now the manufacturer and type certificate holder of the Do-228.

Euramec is to provide a certifiable flight training device for training KASAS cockpit and ground crews. The Do228 FTD will be mounted on a compact full-motion platform and training is to commence early in 2020.

Euramec now distributes Leonardo, Eurocopter and Bell speciality flight simulator lines from Australia's GeoSim, while GeoSim has added the Belgian company's FTDs to its catalogue.
