David MacNeil, founder and CEO of WeatherTech, has decided to confer his aircraft upgrades to StandardAero by selecting Thales compact autopilot for his fleet.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is preparing to take delivery of a crash-resistant fuel tank for its AS350, and the police in Oklahoma will be getting two. This marks the start of fleet upgrade programmes.

More than 108 crash-resistant fuel tanks on the Airbus Helicopters AS350 and EC130 series have already been delivered in the US, Hawaii, Guatemala and Australia. Air Zermatt will pioneer the technology in Europe.
