The addition of the H145 D3 helicopter is a further step towards modernising the LAR fleet. The first stage was marked by the acquisition of a long-haul Bombardier Challenger 605 ambulance jet in 2021.

Stephan Nusser, DRF paramedic/HEMS TC, and Peter Kennemann, DRF pilot, accepted the Adenauer-de Gaulle Prize on behalf of the two aeromedical organisations at a ceremony at Neumünster Abbey in Luxembourg.

The Adenauer-De Gaulle Prize is awarded to persons, initiatives or institutions who have made an outstanding contribution to the consolidation of Franco-German friendship. DRF and LAR have earned their stripes this year.
