Hughes brings advanced instrument flight procedures to Eagle County

The introduction of RNAV (RNP) X, (RNP) Z and (GPS) Y approaches for Runway 25 at Eagle County airport brings lower minima and more reliable pathways for pilots navigating Colorado's mountainous regions.
Hughes Aerospace was selected to help update David Wayne Hooks airport. The project encompassed surveying and classifying obstacles on and off airport property, airspace engineering and FAA coordination.
