HST-Chile’s initial effort involves the creation of seven working groups aimed at improving safety in key areas where helicopter accidents occur. Its leadership includes executives from ACHHEL and Airbus.

Air ambulance, offshore/oil operations and law enforcement helicopter sectors implement recommended safety practices most comprehensively. The lowest implementation is in private flying and in TV/radio news gathering.
