Airstream Jets seeks scale through Silesia Air acquisition

The ops departments are already merged which, from economic and operational points of view, shows that the acquisition makes perfect sense. The plan now is for Silesia Air to operate jets and Airstream the turboprops.

Silesia Air has added a Cessna Citation Excel - to meet customer demand for a stand-up cabin.The Excel joins a Citation 560 and a 525. Silesia, based at Prague Ruzyne Airport, also offers charter flights from airports at Ostrava, Brno, Pardubice, Karlovy Vary and Ceske Budejovice.
