The CJ2+ has proved an effective aircraft for Sylt Air, as its regular charters carry fewer than six passengers on legs of two hours or less. Two more have arrived recently and CEO Stephan Stritter is not stopping there.

Cessna Aircraft Company, a subsidiary of Textron Aviation Inc, recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of the maiden flight of the model 525 CitationJet prototype. Since its launch, eight variants have been certified, and Cessna has delivered more than 1,800 model 525 aircraft around the world, more than 360 of which are in the EMEA region.

Positioned between the aircraft, upper management, crew, clients and the authorities is business aviation's operations manager. Some postholders occupy themselves principally with ground ops, while others have a hand in the flight.
