In another step on the path to becoming an electric air taxi, Quantum has given OSM responsibility for training pilots for its eFlyer fleet. The two companies have 160 electric aircraft on order; deliveries commence 2021.

James Hopkins, a key Quantum advisor and investor, believes that Bye and Quantum will create a whole new industry of urban aviation, reshaping the economics of regional flying.

Quantum Air has signed up for 22 all-electric eFlyer 4s and a couple of eFlyer 2s from Bye Aerospace. Their chief pilot says that not only do they not pollute, but they are also fun to fly.
